KIMONO JACKETS
Jacquelyn Roesch-Sanchez has been honing her craft since 1976 when she knitted her first Kimono Jacket, which incorporated the colors of the constantly changing landscape seen on a cross-country road trip. This simple shape provided the ideal canvas for a wearable display of the rich and abundant colors of America. The Kimono Jacket became the signature core of the artist’s work with progressive colorations the cornerstone of her chromatically opulent style.
